π Partner Onboarding
Welcome to use Global Connect!
This section provides a walkthrough of the partner onboarding process.
STEP 1: Determine your service needed
First, choose the service you need. Currently, Global Connect offers two types of services: Shipping Service and Fulfillment Service. The information required for your profile will vary depending on the service you select during the following step. However, you can change your service type at any time after creating your account.
π¦ Shipping Service:
Shipping service is to use Global Connect to check shipping cost, create shipping label and track it from end to end.
ποΈ Fulfilment Service:
Fulfillment service is to use Global Connect to manage all the stuff during product delivery, including inbound products to the warehouse, manage warehouse inventory, create shipping label and outbound product from warehouse to customers or recipients.
STEP 2: Determine your partner type
Partners are individuals or entities that may use our shipment or fulfillment services. We currently recognize four types of partners.
π€ Retailer
A retailer is a business entity that sells goods or services directly to consumers. Retailers act as the final link in the supply chain, purchasing products from manufacturers or wholesalers and offering them to the end customer.
A retailer can choose either Shipment Service or Fulfillment Service.
π€ Distributor
A distributor acts as an intermediary in the supply chain, purchasing products in bulk from manufacturers and selling them to retailers, other distributors, or directly to consumers.
A distributor usually will choose our Shipment Service.
π€ Brand Owner
A brand owner is an entity that holds the rights to a specific brand, controlling its image, marketing, and the products or services offered under that brand's name. They may manufacture their products themselves or license the brand to others.
A brand owner can choose either Shipment Service or Fulfillment Service.
π€ Warehouse Owner
A warehouse owner is an individual or entity that owns and manages warehouse facilities used for the storage of goods. They will manage the inbound and outbound order according to sellers' requests.
A warehouse owner usually will choose our Shipment Service.
STEP 3: Create an account on Global Connect
After familiarizing yourself with the shipping and fulfillment services, the next step is to create your own account on Global Connect. Begin by clicking the "Get Started" button and complete a straightforward registration process.
Once registered, you can select either shipping or fulfillment services as your primary service. Both services can be available to youβif so, you can add the other service by updating your profile after registration.

β¬οΈ If your primary service is Shipping, please let us know your source countries and destination countries as well as your favorite carriers.

β¬οΈ If your primary service is Fulfillment, please let us know where you would like to locate your warehouse(s) and your preferred carriers.
After you register, you will be able to log into the Global Connect platform. You can update your profile at any time to reflect any changes in your information.
STEP 4: Access Token grant process
Once we receive your registration information, we will review it and aim to contact you within 1 to 2 business days to approve your Access Token. After receiving your Access Token, you will have the freedom to use our API to meet your needs.
